Driving west at sunset across I-40 during a summer thunderstorm, I was heading home to Asheville from a family visit. The wild storm cloud formations were so mesmerizing and then this light shot through. I pulled off the nearest exit and an overpass presented this opportunity. I witnessed and captured this from my open sunroof.
